What this site collects, and what we hold for stores.

This website

turvapos.com is a single page with one form. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's request for the font files. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, for the operation and security of the site.

If you send the form, we receive your name, your store or company, the email or phone number you give us and any message, by email and by a private message to the owner. We keep it only to reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange a look at the system. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your details.

Stores that run on TURVA

A store's data belongs to the store. We do not sell, share or monetise its transaction data.

A copy of the store's data is kept on its own point-of-sale hardware, and a cloud copy is kept for sync, reporting and compliance filing. If a store cancels, its data stays available for export for 90 days.

Retailers keep their own obligations under provincial cannabis regulation and privacy law (in Alberta, the Personal Information Protection Act; elsewhere, PIPEDA or its provincial equivalent). TURVA handles store data on the retailer's instructions.
